Threshold Signalworks Ltd ("we", "us") provides Threshold Cloud, a persistence and synchronisation service for AI agent safety policies and audit logs. The service is accessed via API and MCP protocol.
You need an account to use Threshold Cloud. You are responsible for keeping your API key secure. If you believe your key has been compromised, contact us immediately and we will issue a replacement.
You own your data. We store it to provide the service. We do not access, read, analyse, sell, or share your data except as required to operate the service or as required by law. When you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted.
Don't use the service for anything illegal, don't attempt to access other tenants' data, don't attempt to overwhelm the service with automated requests beyond reasonable use. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that threaten service stability.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee specific uptime for the Starter tier. The Keel skill is designed to fall back to local operation if the Cloud service is unreachable. Enterprise customers can negotiate SLAs.
Threshold Cloud Starter is €29/month per seat, billed monthly. We may change prices with 30 days notice. You can cancel at any time; your subscription runs until the end of the current billing period.
Keel and Threshold Cloud are safety tools, not safety guarantees. They reduce the probability of agent mistakes but cannot eliminate all risk. We are not liable for actions taken by your AI agents, whether or not Keel was active. Our total liability is limited to the fees you have paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ireland.
This DPA forms part of the Terms of Service and applies when Threshold Signalworks processes personal data on your behalf through Threshold Cloud.
You are the data controller. Threshold Signalworks is the data processor. We process personal data only on your documented instructions, which are: to store, synchronise, and serve back the policies, WAL events, and quarantine records you send us through the API.
Categories: AI agent safety policies (text), write-ahead log events (structured JSON), quarantine records (structured JSON), account email address.
Data subjects: May include individuals referenced in policies or log entries (e.g., email addresses in policies, names in action descriptions). This is incidental to the service.
Purpose: Providing the Threshold Cloud persistence and synchronisation service.
Duration: For the duration of your subscription, plus up to 30 days for deletion processing.
We process data only on your instructions. We ensure persons authorised to process the data are bound by confidentiality. We implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures. We assist you in responding to data subject rights requests. We notify you of data breaches within 72 hours. We delete all data when the service ends. We make available information necessary to demonstrate compliance.
Current sub-processors are listed in our Privacy Policy. We will notify you at least 30 days before adding a new sub-processor. You may object; if we cannot accommodate your objection, you may terminate your subscription.
Data is processed and stored in the European Union. We do not transfer data outside the EU. If this changes, we will notify you and ensure appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent) are in place.
We implement: encryption in transit (TLS), access controls (API key authentication, tenant isolation), regular backups, and breach detection and notification procedures. Specifics available on request.
